Eidul Adha

This year for Aidil Adha, I participated in Qurban one part out of 7 parts from the cow and it cost about RM400 per part. Although I was told to be at the mosque during the sacrifice, I was way too sleepy after Adha prayer. Mom and Kie left and return in an hour time.

Mom: Did you know you have to be there... to do "Akad"?

Me: Owh I didn't know.. so how was it?

Mom: I "akad" for you.

Me: Thanks...

Danish came in the afternoon and was sleeping. :( I wish I can play with him but I can't do much.. I miss his presence at home and now since I spent more time outside - work-gym-home, there is no way I had a chance to meet him. He left normally at 8pm and I arrived home at 9pm :(

Later in the evening, mom came back with 1 basin of meat.. and I was like.. what the hell.. where are you going to load all the meat? and her answer is I DONT KNOW... sigh... bad idea..

On that day, she cook Chicken Rendang, Ayam masak merah ( Chili Chicken ) and Ayam Masak Kicap and Tomato Rice ( amik ko.. lauk ayam sumer ... thanks to her.. love her a lot!) and my ex- Sham came over to my house and we had a chat.. it was quite awhile since the last time I knew him. He look happy and I am happy for him.

I wanted to bring some Rendang to Mr Panda, but he was not at home. Rohaiza came and collect me at 8.30pm to go to Putrajaya to meet Sabrina. I miss going out with the two of them. We ended up at Sabrina's auntie who hosted BBQ. Their children are pretty nice and her aunt and uncle is quite chatty people too.. :). Once done, we ended up at Q Bistro and Zaza joined us later. We hang out til 1.30am and the rain falls.

One thing I miss during Eidul Adha is my dad's presence. He would normally participating in sacrifice and always asked me to join him, but, knowing me, having way too much soft spot for animal, I don't think I can ever see anyone cut the cow's throat. I even feel bad to buy fresh water fish where they have to instantly kill the fish... ( weird isn't it? ).Another thing that we missed this time is Lemang. I only bought 2 sticks of Lemang on 1st day of Eidul Adha. If my late father was around, we would have had Lemang a day before the Eid. Definitely that would be it. Else he would make a lot of noise. This time, we don't have many visitors unlike few years before... the house is quite quiet... but I find it peaceful and to add to the quiet, my Astro Decoder was kaput! hahahaah... sekian terima kasih!
